The animals, driven out of their habitat near Kiri Dam, have spread across Guyuk and Shelleng, destroying farmlands, threatening lives, and endangering livestock. The chairmen of both LGAs have appealed to the state government for urgent Residents remain vulnerable, as wildlife laws prohibit them from killing or harming the animals despite the threat. The Secretary to the State Government has assured that steps will be taken to address the situation.
